Vermentino: The King of Wines, produced in the region Gallura!

The white wine Vermentino di Gallura DOCG has a fruity bouquet with mineral notes.

There are vineyards from North to South: Carignano is produced in Sulcis, Cannonau in the centre of Sardinia, Malvasia and Vernaccia in West Sardinia and Vermentino in North Sardinia.

Cannonau was the favourite wine of the famous writer Gabriele D’Annunzio. The wine is ruby red, intense and sapid.

In West Sardinia you can taste the special wines Vernaccia di Oristano and Malvasia di Bosa.

The white Vermentino wine is produced in the region Gallura.

It is well known and popular in Sardinia and in Italy. The wine has a straw yellow colour, the bouquet is fruity with mineral notes. The production has grown significantly in the last 20 years and Vermentino received the the highest classification for Italian wines (DOCG).
