Bike excursions, our active holidays!

Enchanted beaches, natural waterfalls, ancient paths, archaeological sites: the most beautiful cycling excursions!

The protagonist of active holidays in Sardinia is definitely the bicycle, an active alternative to just sea and relaxation😊

The excursions we propose are all around the Gallura countryside where we are located, that strip of land that reaches from the hinterland to the sea with beautiful nature. In collaboration with bike4more.it, whose head office is located at our residence hotel Lu Nibareddu, it is possible to organise various activities in addition to the rental and assistance offered. The bike park is very extensive and ranges from racing to mtb, from e-bikes to touring bikes.

The 7 Beaches

Recommended bikes: MTB, race, touring bike or e-bike. The route takes about 4 hours for a distance of 40 km with low difficulty. Continuing northwards, you reach the summit of Monte Petrosu (350 m), from where you can admire the entire bay and the fantastic Island of Tavolara. We then descend in the direction of Porto Taverna to visit the beaches of Cala Girgolu (famous for the turtle) and the beautiful Porto Taverna itself!

Monte Nieddu

From enchanting beaches to waterfalls and natural pools, peaks from which to admire a breathtaking panorama and beautiful routes marked by centuries-old oak trees. Recommended: MTB and e-MTB bikes. The route takes about 4.5 hours and is 35 km long. High level of difficulty.

Il sentiero degli Stazzi

Recommended MTB and e-MTB bikes. Paved and unpaved roads with differences in altitude of up to 900 metres that retrace the ancient paths of the old stazzi (land with old houses) that led from the countryside to the sea. Difficulty Medium-High and distance of 35 km.

Il Castello di Pedres

Recommended bikes: race, touring bike and e-bike. Distance 40 km, medium-low difficulty. 15 km of very easy dirt and asphalt roads to two important archaeological sites such as the Tombs of the Giants and the Castle of Pedres.
