The most beautiful Beaches from Olbia to Golfo Aranci

The most beautiful beaches of Sardinia for us are at the North East Coast of Sardinia ! Discover them with our mini guide.

We start from the Borgo di Campagna (our rural retreat only 10 minutes away from Olbia) or from the border of Porto San Paolo and after a 15 minutes drive you reach the paradisiac beach of Porto Istana with white sand and turquoise, shallow water.

Proceeding towards Olbia -10 minutes far from the beach from Porto Istana you find the beach Le Saline with fine sand, azure blue sea, dunes and ponds. There are different bars and a kite surf school on the beach. Le Saline is perfect for people who love the sun but not too much heat.

Going ahead towards Olbia you reach the beach Pittulongu. It is a beautiful beach with bars, toilets, restaurants, deck-chair-, beach umbrella- and pedalo hire. The beach stretches out for 2 km and consists of white sand and shallow water. The parking places are behind the beach. You can also take the city bus to get to Pittulongu.

In northern direction you find the beaches Mare e Rocco, Lo Squalo, Il Pellicano, Bados, Cala Banana, Nodu Pianu, Sos Aranzos. The first beach in the district of Golfo Aranci is called Cala Sassari. This beach lies in an unspoiled landscape, it has crystal clear, shallow water and snow white sand.

In the district of Golfo Aranci there are 5 famous beaches starting from the entrance of the district to the port. All these beaches consist of fine sand, azure blue, shallow sea and all services because they are near nearly in the town center.

We finish our trip visiting the marvelous beach of Cala Moresca. From the Port you follow the sandy street which takes you to the first beach with a pine forest and a breathtaking view over the island of Figarolo. The next beach with its rock formations and its emerald water looks like a tropical beach.
